De moeder van Tango is de merrie<\/a> O.Bertje, een dochter van de Oldenburgse<\/a> hengst Contango. O.Bertje is ook moeder van de merrie Zhara-Obertje, die in 2007 kampioene werd op de Nationale Merriekeuring. De Holsteinse<\/a> hengst Amor is de overgrootvader van Tango. Na Amor volgen de volbloedhengst Ghyll Manor xx en de Trakehnerhengst<\/a> Carajan.
